PlanOut V2 Goes Live, Opens Million-Peso Tournament Registration in Real Time
Dumaguete City, Philippines — A day after its official launch at the Negros Oriental Convention Center, the PlanOut V2 event organizing app is already showing strong momentum, with early registrations recorded for its headline event and positive reception from organizers, media, and partners.
Positioned as a full-scale digital solution for event management, the PlanOut V2 event organizing app was introduced as part of the Negros Oriental SummerFest 2026 kickoff, reinforcing its role as a key platform for managing large-scale sports and tourism initiatives across Negros Oriental.
From Launch to Immediate Adoption
The platform went live on April 11, 2026, opening registrations for the PlanOut Pickleball Open in Dumaguete, a ₱1,000,000 national tournament scheduled for May 1 to 3.
Within hours of launch, attendees and online users began signing up through the system, demonstrating real-time usability and adoption of the PlanOut V2 event organizing app.
Among the first to register were celebrity pickleball enthusiasts Diana Zubiri and Jeffrey Tam, who participated in the live demonstration during the event.

The launch also marked a strategic alignment between technology, tourism, and sports development in the province.
As part of the program, the Provincial Government introduced its tourism direction under the concept of “Destination Pickle,” positioning Negros Oriental as an emerging hub for pickleball events, anchored by initiatives such as the PlanOut Pickleball Open in Dumaguete City.
The initiative is led by Negros Oriental Governor Manuel “Chaco” Sagarbarria and the Provincial Tourism Board Executive Director for Negros Oriental, Mr. Woodrow Maquiling, Jr. , who continues to champion the integration of sports into tourism development efforts.

A portion of all registrations for the PlanOut Pickleball Open in Dumaguete will go toward supporting the TODAs (Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations) of Dumaguete City.
