Pet Fest at the Weekend Souk
Check out the fun activities lined up for the Pet Fest this weekend at the Ayala The District North Point!
Our pets are always there for us; they make us smile on a daily basis and gives us unconditional love. Why not devote this weekend to celebrating their presence in our lives? Bring your pets for a weekend of fashion, learning, and limitless fun! And of course there are activities for the whole family to enjoy as well.
The Dogs Fashion Show will be happening on July 18, Saturday, at 4:00PM. Registration starts at 2:00PM, and will be open to small breeds only. This is your chance to showcase your doggie couture and the fierceness of your pet’s walk on the runway!
On day 2, July 19, Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:00PM, fulfill your kids equestrian dreams by letting them take a horse and pony ride around the designated area. At 4:00 to 4:30PM, Dr. Anne Abrera Mirano will be giving a talk on “Proper Dog Care”, followed at 4:30 to 5:30PM by “Dog Basic Training” to be conducted by the K-9 Club.
Many pocket activities will be available throughout the 2-day event just walk around the Corte and check them out. Have fun feeding the rabbits and guinea pigs their favorite – carrots! Remember your pet’s day out by having your photos taken at the Pet-and-Me Photo booth, or get a one-of-a-kind illustration of your pet done by a local artist of your choice. All that fun and excitement can wear out your pet, so give them a little pampering and grooming by Pooch Spa.
Grab some essentials and must-haves from the pet supplies and stalls located at the Corte. There are booths in the activity area for just about everything; beauty and cosmetics, fabulous fashion and accessories, hard to find baby things, novelty t-shirts, collectible toys, and many more!
