Globe advances its mission of creating a Globe of Good through the GT Coop CAREavan, a regional initiative that delivers care and digital empowerment to communities across the Visayas and Mindanao. Driven by strong partnerships and the dedication of Globe employee volunteers, the CAREavan continues to bring learning opportunities, connectivity, and compassion to the communities it serves.
In Cebu, the Cable Network Field Maintenance team brought joy to the children of Children’s Haven through a meaningful outreach activity. More than 60 Globe volunteers spent a day filled with games, stories, and shared laughter, reaching seventy-two young beneficiaries and providing essential supplies. The activity reflected Globe’s dedication to uplifting communities and nurturing a culture of care.

In Davao City, the CAREavan made another meaningful stop with the first SeniorDigizen training session at Barangay Ma-a. Thirty-one Globe volunteers, supported by forty-nine students and staff from the University of Mindanao, taught senior citizens basic smartphone use, cybersecurity, GCash, and the GlobeOne app. The activity aimed to help older adults stay connected, safe, and confident in navigating the digital world.
Globe’s commitment to care was further demonstrated through the Warrior Moms Outreach Program, organized by twelve NTG-Mindanao volunteers in partnership with the Davao Warrior Angels Charity Organization Inc. The activity offered support to nineteen children with lifelong illnesses and their families through shared meals, meaningful conversations, and heartfelt gifts. Volunteers also raised ₱19,000 through personal contributions and fundraising efforts, showing how compassion and collaboration can make a lasting difference.
According to Alwin Mahusay, Assistant Director, HR Business Partner, “The GT Coop CAREavan reflects Globe’s belief that care and connectivity should reach everyone. Through our dedicated volunteers and partners, we are helping communities embrace digital learning and building a future where no one is left behind.”
From Cebu to Davao, the GT Coop CAREavan continues to spread kindness, enable learning, and strengthen digital inclusion, one community at a time.
