TP in the Philippines (formerly Teleperformance) caps a record year for TP LaunchPad, its flagship university relations and student empowerment program. In 2025, TP LaunchPad reached over 19,000 students nationwide, expanded its footprint across 40+ partner schools, and deepened its role in bridging academic learning with real-world IT-BPM industry readiness – a milestone borne from TP’s continuous forging of strategic alliances with academic partners.

Future Workforce Empowerment at Scale

TP LaunchPad’s impact in 2025 reflects the organization’s strengthened commitment to supporting the Philippines’ growing IT-BPM talent ecosystem. The program generated thousands of career leads, implemented over 60 events nationwide and facilitated 22 immersive site tours, giving students across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on-the-ground introduction to TP’s world-class operations.

TP in the Philippines, through its TP LaunchPad program, regularly tours and welcome students from various universities and colleges eager to learn and explore the opportunities in TP and the country’s growing IT-BPM sector.

Through interview workshops, mock interviews, campus tours, job fairs, trainings, and mentorship sessions, TP LaunchPad continues to support young Filipinos as they transition from school to the workforce.

“Through TP LaunchPad, we can impart talent development resources and career opportunities to the youth and the future workforce,” said TP in the Philippines’ Chief People Officer Jeffrey Johnson. “By investing in their development, we can ensure a sustainable future and career pipeline for the Philippine IT-BPM industry.”

Strengthening Academe Partnerships and Near-Hire Readiness

Among the program’s highlights this year is TP’s expanding network of university alliances, capped by its new partnership with Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna (MMCL) and its digital learning arm, Mapua Malayan Digital College (MMDC). A key aspect of the partnership is designing learning programs that integrate the demands of the IT-BPM sector in the curriculum and equip graduates for near-hire readiness and future careers in the IT-BPM sector.

On the other hand, MMDC will also extend full scholarship grants to five deserving TP employees under the MMDC Continuing Education Scholarship allowing them to pursue higher education and complete their college degree while advancing their careers.

Apart from academic partnerships, the program was able to reach other milestones in inclusivity. This year, TP in the Philippines made significant strides in impact sourcing as the company was able to accommodate participants who were deaf or hard of hearing, emphasizing TP’s commitment to inclusion and opening opportunities for people with disabilities.

Present for the signing were, (in photo from left) TP in the Philippines Director for External Relations Nicholas Frias, VP for Human Resources Rachel Cacabelos, MMDC Executive Director Dennis Tablante, and MMDC VP for Marketing and Admissions Jenny Chua.

Another major victory was the expansion of TP’s partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) for its Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) program. This partnership enabled TP in the Philippines to make skills learning and IT-BPM-readiness more accessible, especially for those from underserved communities. These initiatives underscore TP’s long-standing commitment to widening access to meaningful employment and supporting national workforce development.

“Our investment in the Filipino workforce is something we take very seriously to ensure that we are providing access to the right resources to empower them in their careers,” shares Johnson. “It is through our strategic partnerships that we can create more positive impact to our communities, and we are excited for the other collaborations we have in the future,” he adds.

As TP LaunchPad continues to grow, the program is poised to unlock more strategic collaborations with academic institutions, government partners, and local communities. With its scale, reach, and strong industry-academe linkages, TP LaunchPad remains central to TP’s mission of empowering the Filipino youth and strengthening the country’s IT-BPM workforce.
