Jobstreet by SEEK’s sister company, WorkAbroad.ph, teams up with 2GO Travel, aims to equip 100K maritime students with immersive learning

Jobstreet by SEEK’s sister company, WorkAbroad.ph, has recently partnered with sea travel company 2GO Travel to launch the “Enrollment to Employment” (E2E) Program, bridging students in maritime, logistics, and cruise-line hospitality to global job opportunities.

Present at the launch of the E2E program were key leaders: Francis Chua, Business Unit Head of 2GO Travel; Dannah Majarocon, Managing Director of Jobstreet by SEEK Philippines; and Angelo Jayno, Business Unit Head of WorkAbroad.ph.

The initiative aims to help 100,000 students by 2026, equipping them with practical skills and immersive real-world training. Through this program, students will take on actual responsibilities aboard 2GO’s vessels and in its terminal operations, gaining hands-on experience in shipboard hospitality and port-side logistics while being mentored by industry professionals.

This total immersion prepares them for employment through performance evaluations, with graduates earning certificates that enhance their credentials and boost their chances of securing jobs both here and abroad. The program also includes Career Readiness Caravan, which helps students with resume writing and interview coaching. With the right tools, guidance, and exposure, the E2E Program empowers students to transition confidently from classrooms to long-term career success.

Students are matched with verified job opportunities through agencies licensed by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), formerly known as POEA, to ensure all overseas placements are legal and ethical.

The E2E Program also aims to address the growth opportunity in the Philippine education system by updating the curricula, expanding the training access, improving the industry exposure, and helping the students handle career-related stress. By combining hands-on training, certification, mentorship, and ethical job matching, it transforms tourism and maritime careers into future-ready, purpose-driven paths.

“We are proud to support initiatives like the E2E program, which reflect our commitment to closing the education-to-employment gap. At SEEK, we believe that every student deserves a fair chance at meaningful employment, and this program makes that possible by combining skill-building with real job opportunities,” said Dannah Majarocon, Managing Director of Jobstreet by SEEK Philippines.

Workabroad.ph is a leading job portal platform committed to helping aspiring Overseas Filipino Workers find safe job opportunities abroad. They are also dedicated to protecting the lives of OFWs by ensuring that they are matched only with recruitment agencies licensed by DMW, formerly known as POEA. WorkAbroad jobs are also accessible through the Jobstreet by SEEK app available in Android and iOS.
