33rd Negros Trade Fair : Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice
The Negros Trade Fair (NTF) is proudly the country’s longest-running provincial trade fair held annually in Metro Manila since 1985. It continues to provide small and medium enterprises of Negros a venue to showcase their individual ingenuity and a platform for export trade. Now on its 33rd year, the trade fair continues to present the best of Negros products and services from the Association of Negros Producers (ANP).
Negros has more to offer than just sugar, with this year’s theme SWEET TALK: SUGAR SPICE, & EVERYTHING NICE, we are bringing all that is proudly Negros. The lifestyle that the sugar industry has created is evident in the Negrense refined way of living – through its culture, products, food, and art. The fair will pay tribute to the sugar industry by encouraging its exhibitors to make use of sugar, its components, and by products. Furthermore, this year’s trade fair will highlight other income generating industries that are rooted in Negros.
The trade fair will feature booths from various sectors such as natural and organic food, garments, fashion accessories, furniture, décor, houseware, agriculture and tourism. These sectors represent the alternative industries which provide for and sustain the people of Negros.
The Negros Trade Fair also celebrates the dynamic partnerships formed over the years among the Provincial Government of Negros, the Association of Negros Producers, local government units, Department of Tourism, Department of Trade and Industry, private business sectors, sponsors, and media partners, who collectively share the common goal to promote the province and strengthen small and medium enterprises from Negros.
A cocktail reception entitled “Arima!” will be held on September 25, 2018 to mark the opening of the event. Expect nothing but the best – get ready to see, taste, and feel Negros at the 33rd Negros Trade Fair which will run from September 26 – 30, 2018 at the Glorietta Activity Center, Makati City.
