A Brief Introduction to JyNNSONS Phils. Inc.
Founded in 2011 by Agustin “Nene” Torres, a retired accountant and devoted family man, JPI has steadily risen to become one of the most trusted distributors of agricultural products in Negros Occidental. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the company has not only persevered but thrived, now employing a dedicated team of 72 individuals.
JPI’s product range includes essential items for farming, making it a lifeline for farmers in Negros Occidental, where agriculture is a year-round pursuit. Under the leadership of Sir Nene, who serves as EVP and General Manager, and with his son, Julius Torres, as President, the company has remained true to its mission: consistently delivering crop protection chemicals and fertilizers to its business partners, who, in turn, make these vital products accessible to Filipino farmers across rural communities.

The highlight of the evening was a delectable buffet dinner featuring succulent lechon and free-flowing drinks, offering the perfect opportunity for dealers to relax and enjoy the evening. Each dealer was also recognized and received certificates of appreciation for their invaluable contributions to JPI’s journey.

The entertainment didn’t stop there; a lively trivia game with enticing cash prizes kept the energy high. However, the pinnacle of anticipation was reached during the grand raffle, sponsored by JPI’s partner companies. Using the traditional “Tambiolo” method, dealers had the chance to win multiple minor prizes, with some fortunate individuals taking home up to three household appliances. The grand prize, a Yamaha Mio motorcycle, left everyone on the edge of their seats.
