SM started out with shoes. And today, it continues to expand its footwear legacy by reaching out to communities with the Simply Shoes outlets. Simply Shoes, an affiliate of SM Retail, opens its twenty-second branch at CityMall Victorias, Victorias City, Negros Occidental, today February 15, 2017.

Yesterday, Simply Shoes opened its branch in the southern part of Negros Occidental, welcoming Valentines Day with the opening of CityMall Kabankalan.

Simply Shoes is a one-stop shoe store offering a wide assortment of shoes selections for women, men and children. The store carries an assortment of brands, both for everyday and special occasions including SM’s iconic Parisian brand, which offers trendy yet affordable footwear for the ladies. Solemate has a wide array of fab flats.

It also carries Milanos trendy designs for men; as well as Vans, World Balance, Kicks, Sprint, Treads, Easy Soft, Duralite, Summit, Sling Beachwalk, Toeberries and Islander for the active and casual lifestyle. Kids, on the other hand, will make stylish steps with Sugar Kids, Tough Kids, Barbie, Avengers, Marvel, Ben 10, Spiderman, Tom & Jerry, Max Steel, Justice League and Frozen. Brands like Salvatore Mann Bags and Hawk Bags are also available.

Shoppers are in for some additional treats as the bonus points will be 10x with an additional 10% off for all SM Advantage, Prestige and BDO Rewards card holders from today until February 17, 2017.

The opening was led by Simply Shoes executives; Elizabeth Tinio – Business Unit Head;  Eugene Saw – Senior Vice President, and SM Shoes & Bags Business Unit Head; and Rocky Gomez, AVP Regional Manager, SM Shoes and Bags. Also gracing the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Ferdinand Sia, COO, DoubleDragon Properties, and Herson Sy, representing his father Herbert Sy who is the Vice Chairman of SM Markets’ Food and Retail Group. (CityMall Commercial Centers Inc., is a subsidiary of DoubleDragon Properties Corp., and will serve as the umbrella company for all CityMall community mall projects in the country. CMCCI is 66% owned by DD and 34% owned by SM Investments Corp.)

This is Simply Shoes’ third branch in the province. The first Simply Shoes in Negros Occidental opened in November last year at CityMall Mandalagan in Bacolod City, followed by branch openings in Kabankalan City and now, Victorias City.
