Travel SAFELY with Grabcar
GrabCar Bacolod was suspended when Negros Occidental was placed under the strictest enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), and all forms of public transportation were prohibited from operating.
Running essential errands like Grocery Shopping, Food Take-Out, Buying Medicines, and Banking is a significant risk because I’m afraid I might get infected by Covid 19 using a jeepney or a tricycle. So I decided to buy online and have it delivered.
Now that GrabCar is back in Bacolod City, I feel safer going around buying groceries and medicines because they have implemented GrabProtect.
What is GrabProtect?
GrabProtect is Grab’s promise to implement and maintain high safety and hygiene standards to protect their passengers and customers, along with their drivers.
Here are some of the measures under GrabProtect:
1] Go cashless with GrabPay:
Cashless transactions when you book and ride a Grabcar using their mobile wallet GrabPay. Learn how to use GrabPay here.
2] Social distancing inside Grabcar:
Each GrabCar will only have a maximum capacity of two passengers, who need to sit apart at the back and move closer to the windows.
3] Barrier installed:
A barrier separating the front seats from the back seats is also installed.
4] Hygiene Kits:
All GrabCar fleets have hygiene kits for regular disinfection of vehicles.
5] Wearing a Face Mask is a must:
All Drivers must wear face masks, and passengers must wear face shields and face masks and at all times. A driver or a passenger may cancel the trip if either of them is not wearing a face mask.
